Is it okay to include NSFW/Darker theme?? (Given it has early warning)

I wanted to include darker theme as one of the ending for my VN. I know NSFW is allowed, and there is no restrictions for that. But can I include sensitive contents? (Ex. Bl**d, m*rd*r, su!cid*, etc.) Given it has trigger warning or age restriction of some sort??

In a thread of a past edition, sakevisual stated that there are no rules against it.

Thanks for asking this question. I was thinking of making a Giallo type game and was going to try and add a Boomer Shooter level from the POV of the murderer.

Just confirming that content restrictions for this jam mirror itch policies and the law. All sensitive content must be clearly and appropriately tagged.

The shocking image rule has me a bit confused. Death scenes for a horror game are allowed if properly tagged?

You'd have to get clarity from itch to be sure, but in the case of a murder mystery, a warning at the front of the game and on the game's landing page that the story contains depictions of death should work. Some devs opt to include extra details (usually behind a spoiler tag), of the nature of the violence as well.
