Order or revealing encounter cards

Hi,

I'm not sure, but it seems to me that currently, in the app, when you have multiple encounter cards they are revealed in the reverse order they were dealt (this happens too quickly, but I think it is done in that way). However, as per rules version 1.6:

"During step four of the villain phase, each player (in player order) reveals and resolves all facedown encounter cards that have been dealt to them, one card at a time in the order in which they were dealt."

Hi @quantumodo,

Thank you for your feedback. If I understand correctly, you are saying that in the current game version (v0.5.8.166), the encounter cards are revealed in reverse order, with the last card dealt being revealed first. However, according to rule 1.6, the first card dealt should be revealed first.

We initially based our development on rule 1.5 and didn’t prioritize updates to the rules. While updating the mechanic to align with rule 1.6 is certainly feasible, it would likely break at least half of our existing test cases, as they are all based on rule 1.5.

To address this, we are considering adding an option for this mechanic in the future.

Additionally, if you would like to slow down the animation, you can pause the game by pressing the Space button or adjust the animation speed in the right sidebar.

Thank you for your understanding, and please feel free to share any further thoughts!

Fair enough! I do not think this has a significant impact in most games. The only situation in which I think it could matter is when you play cards that manipulate the encounter deck (like looking at or reordering cards), so I will keep in mind the reverse order of revelation if I play them.

Thanks for the tips about pausing the game. I do use the space bar, but in this case it was anyways to fast for me to catch. Don't worry.

And thanks once again for developing this amazing app. I just love it!!!
