dose anyone think its weird that some devlogs  can have 5 likes but another devlog can have 1, but another one has 0(and thats the one on top?)  whats up with that?

That's because (popular) devlogs are sorted by more complex criteria, not just the number of likes. Otherwise it would be too easy for people to game the system, and for the most liked posts to remain on top forever.
