Constants mod resetting

I'm using the Constants mod to tweak some of the settings for the game. I think it's an excellent tool.

However, everytime I start the game, the settings seem to have been reset. Does anyone know why this is the case? Could it be related to write-protected files in the mod folder? Or something else? Is there a way to open the constants settings outside the game and save the file?

The cause is likely that your constants mod version does not match the one packaged with the game, because it is stored separately from the game data.  The game is unable to handle this properly.

First, I recommend resetting your mods, may not be necessary but it's a good precaution.
Then, find and delete the constants mod folder at C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Strive\mods\Constants.
Finally, a new constants folder will be copied over when the game starts, use that when re-applying your mods.

Thanks :D

Sven did that sort you out?

Oh, yes - thank you very much :D

I also un-checked the "write protected" box on the properties of the mod folder. Not sure if that did anything, but the issue has been sorted in any case :)
