How to insert a lion standing on its paws?

Only once did I succeed but I don't understand how to do it.

The lion is always lying down! Why?

the lions are lying on the ground,
which keys to press to stand them up like a horse?

If the models are fully articulated in FS, only a very limited range of animation movements is available - limited to the animation loop in the resource model FS uses. For a fully articulated model you can pose etc you need a different package. One that is free, but much content has to be paid for, is DAZ Studio ( https://www.daz3d.com/ ). Big cats are in the list of non-human creatures that can be posed and animated with it. Unfortunately the only import method for FS appears to be as a static mesh object, so the figure (whether Human, Cat, Big Cat or anything else) has no animation in FS.

I clicked through more than 30  lion varieties and never found a lion standing on its feet.
It is safe to assume, the standing lion icon is misleading.

When I bought flowscape weeks ago, in the first tests, the lion and the lioness were standing, then in all the following hundreds it always appeared lying down, so I think that for some mysterious key combinations this is possible ..

There is no magic key. I have gone back to version 1.5.4 and hundreds of lions. All in one form or another of a lying pose.

DAZ Big Cat 2 exported via OBJ and imported into FS.

I tried DAZ Big Cat 2 exported via OBJ and imported into FS. but the export result is very bad.

What options should I set in the OBJ export panel compared to my image?

Thanks for the reply

For DAZ Studio OBJ export to FS  try these settings:

When saved you will get a   .OBJ file, a .MTL file and a Folder called MAPS.  Copy or move all files in the MAPS folder so they are in the same folder as the .OBJ & .MTL files, then do FS | Import | Mesh.

Not sure why it failed.   Make sure using most current versions of DAZ Studio, FlowScape & video drivers.  Also in DS don't use DAZ Connect if you can avoid it.  Also, make sure FlowScape settings on high quality (just in case).

it looks like the normals are flipped in the import, is there a way to flip normals in DAZ?

Could be flipped normals or maybe  texture/image maps not coming through.  To flip normals in DAZ use the Geometry Editor,  select all polygons with Marquee Selection tool, then right click and choose flip normals.

Thank you so much!!

Now with all your good tips I finally succeeded !!

That looks good!
