just released the final version of the game.. if you are into old school retro brutal RPGs, then check this out

From the picture above. It looks like our two hero's are surrounded. I never was into ultima but my buddy was and this sure reminds me of that genre.

thanks. Ultima 3 and 4 were huge inspirations for this. Right before i started on this I played through both of those to get motivated.
