Kick sample lost after reopening a project (logic pro x)

the sample that we put into nimble kick sometimes disappears when we save the project and then open it on another day. there is no sample in the plug-in that we had previously dragged into it.
we also sometimes have problems playing the midi notes from nimble kick. he often does not play the first notes in the midi after we have dragged a new kick into the plug-in. sometimes not at all.

How long is the kick sample you're dragging in? If your Mac is relatively slow, it will take a while to completely finish processing the pitching process after dragging the sample in. The time this takes also depends on the length of the sample. I recommend not using samples longer than a second or so for this reason.

I'm not sure I can explain the samples disappearing. Are the paths to the kick sample changing? You can check the "Embed sample in project" checkmark on the settings dialog of the plugin, this should guarantee that the sample remains in the plugin state regardless of file presence on disk.

Je n'arrive pas a ouvrir avec logic pro9 pour ?

We're having the same problem (latest Studio One).

That's really weird. Do you have the "Embed sample data" checkbox turned on in the settings? If not, are you sure the samples are still in the same location?

This works like a charm. The setting is held across projects and new projects. great feature. I'm just wondering, is there any way to re-access the original sample in WAV format? Studio One places files from it's own sampler in a seperate folder when saving projects to a new location.

Not easily. I will note down that "export embedded sample" could be a useful feature. Thanks!
