i'm having some problems navigating through the game, i reached the mountain of xinu to fight the boss (i have the item from the witch) but the only available actions are duck & block with both leading to surrendering and losing, how can i beat them?

There's an item the witch sells that makes you a pacifist or something, you didn't by chance buy that and put it on? I think it was the tiara or something?

1. You did not followed the steps of the Goddess of Mount Xiuh quest. 

2. You bought "Cursed" Tiara of control from the witch when you head gear slot was empty.

3. (probably) You messed with the witch dialogue tree and picked wrong answer. IDK, I never done that, just paid her.

Gods layer quest.

1. Go to Town square of the 1st town, chose Listen to the crier, get the info about the Quest.

2. Go to Town square of the 1st town, chose to listen to the rumors. Get the special event, get orb from the event. Chose to pay 20GP or crank\suck  him ( CHA<4 or Blowjob\handjob mastery is <3 needed).

3. Go to the witch hut. Get the special event, Pick to pay with 100GP \ Soul \ Gem (safe option is GP, idk about other)

4. Go to Mount Xiuh, slay the goddes (anal virginity or\and 1lvl are rewarded with achievements.)
