Untitled Red Panda Game

Introduction to URPG

I initially had an idea to create a game about a stray puppy whose family was trapped in the pound.  The player would control the puppy, and free the family through any means possible.

Eventually, the "through any means possible" concept hatched new ideas about the puppy being able to do a lot of things puppies couldn't normally do, like steal and resell items to then buy things like guns or baseball bats.  Eventually I decided that a puppy wasn't the best fit for the protagonist, and I thought about what animal fit the mischievous theme.  I then made a raccoon model, but something still felt off.  I am currently trying out a red panda, and I think that's what I'll stick with.

Any feedback would be awesome!

I also made several animations, but I can't make a gif right now. I think I may sell all the models I make for this game to help fund it.

TJ the Raccoon:

Here is the raccoon model I made in the Unity scene view.  He is outside the player's home base (see the cave in the wall).  I decided to try another animal as I couldn't quite nail the raccoon cuteness without making him look kind of like a fat skunk.

Red Panda WORK IN PROGRESS:

A bit of work still to do on the nose, coloring, and animation, but I think this is my best model yet.
