An enemy like the one from the old arcade game 'centipede'. It is long and segmented, and if you shoot it in the middle and break a segment it turns into two centipedes. You kill it by removing all the segments, but it is easier if you kill only the ones at the very end or front.

It would be able to bite to attack.
