Question about copy protection and piracy

Hello,

Is there a default/any copy protection law that prevents someone to buy a published game then resell it under their name? Or I would need to add my own EULA for this inside my game that the user would need to accept before playing?
Same question goes for piracy like someone buying the game then put it in a file share for others to download for free?

Thank you

It's called copyright, or author's rights, depending on the country. That's what prevents people from doing what you said. You don't need an EULA, the law protects you anyway. And software piracy is called piracy because it's illegal. Hope this helps.

Thank you
