every time i get to the town in the begining the thing that tells you to open the map breaks and i cant close it

What Input Device are you using? are you on the latest update? This problem should've been fixed in update 1.0.2

im useing a xbox one controller i got the latest version because i have the itch.io app
Sorry about this I actually haven't had and Xbox One Controller to try out, I'll patch this fix in by tonight
I have a razer controller and i get stuck on it also!!!
The razor controllers I believe read as an xbox one it should fix with the update. I'll let you know when its up, if you could verify that it works it would really help out,
