So I'm trying to figure out a second/third character I can get for my base. I want to have 2-3 towers up so I can explore the map for longer periods of time without the need to go home. Any suggestions for characters I should get? (Also, do characters get different weapons? And does upgrading towers increase range or any other stat besides the towers health?)
Hey MrKrabs,
The easiest characters to get right now are the woman at the picket fence and the football jock all the way left on the main road. Each character has unique melee attacks and abilities. Right now the towers only upgrade health but in the next update their range will be physically visible and increase with upgrades,

Find zombie sheriff around town. (Spawns at any dead end road in the town, its a zombie with an arrow, he will drop a badge)
Find Donut (You can find donuts randomly inside Trashcans)
Build A tower (save another survivor and build a tower)
Farmer: (Quests)
Kill all 12 zombies in the farm
repair broken wall
Harvest crops
Counselor: (Quests)
Gather wood
Gather Mushroom
Save the Kids
Drunk: (Quests)
Gather Gasoline
Gather Pizza (Spawns random in Trashcans)
Smash the bottles
Housewife:
White picket fence North West of camp.
Jock:
All the way west on the Southern road
Nurse:
Entrance of the Hospital
Girl scout:
Save all the kids
Gravedigger:
Entrance of the Church (Coffin)
Mountain Man:
Kill the feral at the end of the tutorial
Shopkeeper:
Drag the huge bone from the west side of the forest to the East (Touch bone to shopping cart)
