I was using the voltline core while using the shears legs and I noticed that when I switched direction the core would disappear for a split second before showing back up. I figured this may have been due to the mechanic of recharging energy when you move back and forth, so I starting shooting my gun (shepherd arm) and when I started to recharge by moving back and forth, the core would disappear sometimes again. I don't know if this is intentional but I figured you should know as sometimes it can be jarring.

TL;DR sometimes the core image will disappear when recharging energy.

Is this something other people also encounter or is this just me?

Hmm, I don't notice that - the core part flashes color (yellow and black), so it might just appear to be disappearing against a dark background? Are you sure it completely disappears?

Sorry for the late reply (time zones and school). I believe it might have been the dark background thing (I have seen the yellow flashes occasionally) so I went through different coloured backgrounds and tried it out. Only a few times did I catch the a black flash instead of nothing (this was on brighter backgrounds) so I think you are mostly right. However (this may be just me or my copy of the demo), I am very sure I did catch a few times the core disappearing entirely when it was on two different backgrounds e.g. edge of a tree (if that makes any sense, hopefully that was helpful).

As a suggestion I recommend changing the black flash to a different dark colour as I found it quite jarring when I first saw it and I need to look closely to occasionally see the black flash.
