Just to give an Introduction, this is a Horror Visual Novel about you being a police Officer working in a small rich town that is occupied by Some of the most richest and powerful people in the world. One night while patrolling around the small town, you get a phone call to intercept a distress signal coming from Sargon Forest. What was suppose to be routine patrolling turns sinister.

Before I go onto the developing the actual visual novel, I at first written the script on 6 pieces of paper and I am now  proceeding to type it in into a word processor. This would probably take until the 25/04/2019 but this is important as typing it into a word processor would make implementing it into the engine a lot easier and would get rid of punctuation and spelling errors.

Here is my task list.

What is marked in yellow is already complete. I am now modifying the script within a word processor.

Update 12/04/2020

At this rate I will probably finish the script before the 25th which would give me more time to develop the visual novel. The engine I am using to make the visual novel is Construct 2,

I have successfully managed to finish the script, it took 16 days which aint long but it is short visual novel with multiple endings and scenarios. Now its time to implement this text within the construct 2 engine. I have also designed some art and assets which will also be implemented within the engine, this is the main character which will be you set out to investigate Sargon Forest.

Hey guys, I have started to implement the art as well as the dialogue within the engine. This is no doubt going to be a process which will take a lot of time so I have doing bit by bit every day. But I have already made a tremendous amount of progress and it has not even been a month.

Here is the progress I have made.

You will be able to make decisions in this game. I am planning 4 unique endings to this game.

This project is going very well so far, I will keep you guys updated for more soon.

I have been using Pixabay for some of the art that im going to implement within the game. This should make the game more visually appeasing.

Hey if your looking for a voice actor/ character development artisan please message me back. I am interested in being a part of this project. I love visual novels where the players choices matter and would be happy on board

Hey Deniskingltm thanks for the interest, ill message you if I am looking for a voice actor/ character development artisan, thank you for offering support to this project.

It looks like the visual novel is starting to take form even though I have just been implementing the visuals and dialogue. Ill continue to post more cool screenshots of this visual novel soon. However in the meantime development is going well, Pixabay has been really good at providing me the images/art I need for this project as my art isn't really good at all lol.

After when I do implement all the visuals and dialogue in the engine, I will move onto sound/music which will be a big influence when it comes to making this visual novel an immersive piece of art.

But in the meant time Its officially clear that I have entered the mid - development hell.

I am starting to develop characters within the game which will be used within the visual novel, here is one of them.

Hey guys Just an update here, the game is going really well. I have been mostly working on implementing the art and dialogue within the game which has taken some time however I have made a lot of progress on it. After when that is done (which is not long), I will be working on the UI, sound and music which will be the most interesting parts of this development process.

Hey guys,

We are nearly done with implementing all the art and dialogue within the game. I have been looking at the type of music I will be using for this game and I think the screen shot below maybe the number 1 contender for the menu music. However I will keep looking for something that sound better though already this music is  amazing for the menu. For sound I will be using mostly sound effects within the game rather than music as sound effects will do a good job at immersion, However once I finish implementing the art and dialogue, I will start looking to implement sound and music.

1.  I have finished implementing the script and visuals

2. I have finished implementing the sound design however it will go through a few changes

3. I will now start making the promotional material like the logo which I will post soon

4. I will also start making the UI for the game which will include the menu screen, ending screen and introduction screen.

5. I will test play the game after designing the interface (if you are interested in play testing the game message me.)

The game is really coming together after over a month of development. I will share the logo soon however right now making the logo is the top priority as the game is finished. However once we finished with the UI and stuff, we will be moving onto play testing
