I am very much a beginner at this, so please excuse my very basic questions. If I create a character with Character Creator 2D, is there some way that I can then create my own animations, or even just poses? I'm not trying to make a game - just some illustrations, so I'm just trying to create a number of still shots. If I can't do it in this program, is there another program I could load illustrations from this into, in order to create new poses?

You can create your own animations but unfortunately it's not documented as of yet, and you can only create them in the unity version (which you also get when purchased on itch).  The devs noted that they are considering putting a basic "how to" in the manual as there's been a lot of requests about this on how it's done.
