Been playing for 3 hours and i'm only a bloody level 3 bloodmage. What the hell? I took the thing that gives you confusion in return for 20 agility. I did the grandpa quest. Can't find someone to take the maid. I'm incredibly weak and can only kill wolves by confusing em and hoping they suicide. If i didnt take the confuse i have no idea how i'd kill anything. I'm 90% sure i'm just retarded but can anyone help with quests that i can do? Or should i reset and not pick confuse.

There are 2 quests you can do southeast of the Town of Beginnings, in the church area. They should give you enough exp to level up to about lvl 5 and learn magias that practically instakill the weaker enemies of the starting area.

Sorry for the delayed response, I've been busy lately. Also yeah, it is possible to f@ck your character up if you take too many of the perks, since most contrast with one another. Fortunately, just learning Confusing Stare is not enough for that, and it will help a lot later, when you fight multiple enemies at once.

Done em but im still lvl 4. Need 200 exp to level and it's gonna take way too long without any dmg. Relying on confusing stare is way too unreliable to grind.

The person who takes the maid is you, after you purchased a house at the Town of Beginning. Talk to the maid after you bought the house.

Best thing I've been able to do as a blood mage, is make sure you get the rested Status in Dragonstooth from the Inn Guy, then head back to the port and get the Gentle Warmth and Arcane Blessing from the hooded woman and the Wizard respectively. All of them together should let you deal with a few of the enemies whilst only using Mana when absolutely needed, just need to get a weapon from the town of beginnings as soon as possible.

Just follow the dirt path to get directly to the town of beginnings. There road is small and there are a lot of quests to do without having to fight anything in ToB.

You can complete drunk-nun quest at church basement near ToB to gain some exp, but i strongly recommend to you use Fortune Teller help for 30 coins to gain some abilities like exp bonus.
