That was a very interesting prologue, modifying the world around you with code is a very interesting premise, just added it to my wishlist. Very cool graphics too! Controls were a little unusual, but manageable. I'd suggest toning down the sparks SFX volume, which was somewhat distracting, and the sword polishing sound, which became annoying after some time.
