I played this game for the first time two years ago, and I can safely say it made my depression worse at the time. If you have any issues with depression, I recommend waiting until better times to play it.
Yo this kid is so innocent, I feel bad for him if he gets anxiety attacks :(
Btw. This is rated 16+ and if you are younger then probs you won't take the deaths easily. Most likely a 1 week nightmare and become traumatized for the rest of your life. (Or until you grow up)
i played it when i was 10, and it only gave me one nightmare at the time, and scared me so much it made me nauseous, but it was worth it, this game is amazing.
i watched pewdiepie play this when i was a bit older than you and i got shaken up. I suppose it would be even worse for you since playing it by yourself makes it more personal. I watched it again some time ago and then finally played it by myself, and it still had an effect on me even though i already knew what would happen. I never got nightmares though
Yeah this game also has alot of reading required which for an 11 year old such as yourself you'll most likely get bored and not even understand the main themes of game due to you being so young
If you get the game it will give a warning about sensitive topics and if you are easily disturbed, have depression anxiety etc. that it's highly recommended that you shouldn't play it because of suicide, death and that.
But I didn't get nightmares but that;s just me, but you choose what you want
It really depends on ur state of mental health and ur maturity to deal with this stuff, if u think that ur mature enoughand mentally stable then, go for it. But please do be wary and talk to people if you get nightmares or anything like that. Personally i did have depression after playing this game but that was because of other issues. I reccomend it though.
What can I say? I'm 14 and if you really wanna play it i recommend you to get used to jumpscares. I personally decided to spoil myself the entire game, but at least now I know what to expect (I always have anxiety when I know I'm near a triggering part, though). This way, the only thing I felt when my fav character died was SADNESS. A LOT OF IT.
