so, i cant get a screenshot of it because he is moving to fast... Simeon moves like 40-50 times faster than the average npc when he is moving from task to task. I first noticed it when i went in around 10:27 am and talked to him to get the new quest, after getting it he just about teleported to the front counter lol. Later the same day i was checking to see if anything got added to the build page and when i was leaving he flew out of the house and up towards the mines (i think) at insane speed to where i only saw maybe 6 frames of him walking before he was off my screen. Im on 0.2.2.1 version. This is only day 1 of the patch so i will update if it happens to change because of that being the case.

he has now been closed for 3 days straight, and the only thing i did was accept the quest 4 days prior to start gathering materials for my house upgrade. He isnt off building.

Can't find him at all in my game. His shop is closed all the time. I havent picked up the new quest from him yet - so its not that you have the quest that is the problem.

EDIT: season changed to winter - and now i can enter his shop, and he is there.

took 5 days for him to open again, now on day 17 of winter. I havent gotten him to go sonic fast again though. He is now moving normally. 

Thanks for pointing this stuff out. Someone mentioned something similar in the discord channel. I’ll look into it tomorrow. I think I have a guess as to why he is moving that fast. I can’t be certain but I’d guess that if the game patched while your character was asleep I’m guessing that he continued to move at timeskip speeds. Basically NPCs move super fast when you are asleep in order to keep up with time moving quickly. Mostly likely something in the patching process doesn’t revert their speed. I’ll have a look, the system is a bit old, I may just overhaul it in general. If I can find a fix I may put out a hotfix earlier than Friday.
