macOS version is 32-bit?

I'm running this on a Mac Pro with macOS catalina and as I open the app it says the app needs to be updated. AFAIK, there's no way to run a 32 bit app on Catalina, and I can't downgrade either because the computer's default/original OS is Catalina. Is it possible to re-compile/re-build the app in 64-bit?

Hi

Any news on this? I bought the game on Steam but my new MacBook only supports Catalina, so it would be great to get this running (again).
