I run Windows 10. I was initially having an issue where my mouse wouldn't control my viewing angle in-game, but this was resolved by launching the game as administrator. While launched as administrator, my mouse works but pressing the escape key just brings up a white dot cursor with no menu.

Also, when I attempt to breed plants, the animation with the two strands of genetic material merging into the central location doesn't end. It just keeps going indefinitely, with no new plant growth.

These issues have continued despite restarting the game and restarting my machine. I have a 4k monitor, and attempted to lower my resolution to 1080p to see if this could have been a factor, but it made no difference. Any idea what could be causing these issues, or what I could potentially try in order to resolve them?

I'll see what I can do. If you could walk me through step by step what exactly happened and went wrong (such as what you mean by mouse not controlling view angles: was the camera stuck? Could you see the mouse on top of the screen just moving around? Something else?) there's a greater chance that I'll be able to help you.

I'll be honest with you, though. I haven't seen this bug before which makes it tricky. And, it's over a year since I've touched the code in this game, so I'm not at my sharpest for figuring out what's wrong.
