I just reached the summit a little while ago. What a delightful little game! I still have some unfinished errands so I will go back, but I had to get dinner first.

Exploring this island brought back memories of my first time playing Myst, my first time in World of Warcraft, exploring Dun Morogh (well that game is much much bigger, but my first day there was much like this game). So many fun little places to discover, things to find, people to talk to—without any damn achievements telling me what I had to do!

Really the only thing I felt a desire for—though not a need—was a good map of the island. It's just how my brain works, and really after enough time I knew my way around well enough. And yet I kept finding things on little side trails I hadn't seen before, or on ledges I hadn't come across! Thank you so much for making this game.

Updates: I have now finished everything except the race to the top, and finding the last fish in the calm river waters.  I've been up and down both rivers and haven't found any waters that look calm. Hm! I am stumped. I also found the little island with the sun hat for sale; it is off to the  northeast of the boat, for those wondering..

I now have 20 golden feathers and 2 silver feathers, it's ridiculous. Too bad I can't pick up the bones (or pick blueberries). I might keep poking around for that last fish, but I sure would appreciate a hint.

Yes, this was a super sweet game that made my afternoon a lot nicer. I also would have liked a map / quest list (I'm PRETTY sure I've been everywhere but I only just found the light house 20 minutes after beating the game...), but the exploratory aspect was really fun and it was short enough for me to get away with just wandering. God, this really let us live out the beautiful fantasy of paying off someone's college tuition, huh

Wow, I can't imagine missing the lighthouse, but it's definitely possible to reach the peak without doing all the other stuff. Having no way to point the camera is also a factor in missing things.

Did you find the tiny island with the gal selling sun hats? (I'm guessing you found the not-quite-tiny island with the smaller peak.)

I spent like 20 minutes trying to find the tiny island again, and gave up.  :D  Oh well, I ended up finding so many other things in the process, and it's a wonderful game all around.

You can find the tiny island! Go to the boat, and swim northeast, it's just around there.

I just got the update with the boating and wow, I didn't think this game could get any more fun. I love that you keep adding little "expansions" to keep us coming back to the island. I think I have found all the new things, but I still haven't talked with the boatman about all the books he's reading.
