Hi, I LOVE this game and cant believe this is free! but I'm having a problem with the locations where if I visit a location like steven farm to complete the quest, all I see there is  small area with a white outlined square and no resources or any enemies. 

Ireally don't know how to find things and cannot progress because of this.

I also tried resetting the map data but it didn't change anything on the map

Help would be much appreciated.

You have to click with the mouse and explore to uncover the areas. The farm is up and to the right.

I have found the icon that's says steven farm but when I enter it it is nothing more than a white box.  It is the same for Ellie's orphanage to the lower left even though they show up on the map.

But thank you for the feedback and keep developing this amazing game.

Oh and side note, 

I also didn't start with the abandoned house that I have seen on some youtube playthrough which confused me aswell. Sorry for the inconvenience.
