Does anyone know what's wrong here, I downloaded the game for mac and I opened the Escaped Chasm folder I pressed game (I assume this is what your supposed to press) and I get a message saying "The application "Game" can't be opened." I would really like to play this game so I hope people know how to fix this. Thanks!

EDIT: I got it to work via the itch.io launcher

Hmmm...Did you try to download the itch.io app then open it?

I was in the same situation at first, so I try to download it in the app and it really works!

Actually I don't know what does "Launcher" means...I'm not a native English speaker, so I searched for it  on the internet,  but it seems like the only meaning we have in my country is rocket something??? And someone said that is for searching, but I really don't get it... Or maybe it's because I read it too fast. But I guess it's different from app, though it seems like these two words often be used together.

So um, what am I saying is, if you haven't download the app, then try it. If you already did and you're sure about that you didn't got it wrong, then there is nothing more I can do to help, I'm sorry buddy.

Here's the address :

itch.io

I don't know if I got it wrong... It supposed to be yellow??? Anyway, at least give it a try. If it doesn't work,  then search for the web on the internet.

I'm sorry if I seem like not taking things serious, trust me, I didn't mean to.

My English is horrible, so it may be a lot of mistakes, I wish you could get the main idea.

If I didn't help, I'm really really sorry aboutza.

The app is the launcher but I got it to work. Thank you!

Sure thing. Don't mention it.

I guess Windows just more popular eh?

It not only don't have problem like this, but also take less RAM.

orz Maybe I should change my laptop, the world is just too hard to Mac user ( I don't use it to work after all XD).

Haven't tried the Itch.io launcher, but I was able to open it with these instructions:
