If you've ever had difficulty trying to figure out which weapons work best against which robots, or vice versa, look no further than here, fellow human! (This guide does not include things like the kick, flame breath or laser, sorry!)

Part one: Advantages, this is a good place to start if you want to get a good footing on your best offensive tactics

Sword: Arrows are inferior to block upgraded swords, and spears can be easily countered by flanking a spear-bot's left (your right), this even applies to Shield-Spear-bots. A side swing can also make mincemeat of most Sword robots, as long as they don't start boosting around.

Bow: Hammer-bots and Spear-bots can't block your arrows, and are good target practice. This is great for if you're having difficulty against high ranking Hammer-bots such as Mk3. The bow is also very useful for getting past armor, as many arrows in quick succession can both destroy armor, and get in enough damage to kill the robot. This weapon is also great for sniping robots with weakpoint areas, such as Flame Raptors or either Spidertron.

Hammer: The long range of the weapon can easily take down the Sword-bots, and is a good weapon for when you get close to Archer-bots, even the higher ranking ones. This weapon is also great against Jetpack-bots, provided your timing is well. This weapon is also great for Shield-Spear-bots, as hitting the shield will knock down the robot, leaving it wide open for a finishing arrow attack or spear jab.

Spear: Like the hammer, the spear's long range makes Swords inferior, and it also makes great work against other Spear-bots. It's averagely useful against Archer-bots too, so don't underestimate the spear's long ranged attack. It's precision is also great for getting past a Flame Raptor's tail whip, so make sure you don't miss your opportunity.

Part two: Disadvantages, this is where defensive tactics come into play

Sword: Don't try getting close with a high Mark Hammer-bot if your only weapon is a basic sword (unless you have a jetpack). Jetpack-bots can also fly by your tiny little attack with ease too, so make sure you have a larger radius weapon, such as the Hammer.

Bow: Swords and Shields can block your attacks, make sure you have a backup weapon for Sword-bots, and force the Shield-Spear-bots to leave them self open via their attack before trying to shoot them.

Hammer: Other hammers are still a threat to you, and you can't block arrows with this beefy weapon, so make sure you have something to counter these measures beforehand, when possible.

Spear: The thin attacks on this weapon can be risky against bigger robots, especially the bosses, and the shield won't keep you safe forever, so make sure you know when to block and strike, before your head pops off.

I hope this guide helps you guys survive long enough for help to arrive, or reach a high tier in endless or something. Either way, I gotta make preparations before the harvesting fleet arrives! Toodles!
