You should avoid becoming too close with Carlos. If Carlos comes out to you on October 6, you'll have a scene with Adam and Carlos on October 13 instead of James' romance scene and you'll lose your only chance to start dating him.

By the way I laughed really hard when it happened to me. Adam is by far my favorite character, but I convinced myself to try James' romance once, I ended up failing his route because of that scene and being asked out by Adam instead. I guess it was destiny.
