[Unraveling August 0.2] - Changelog & Release Schedule



Wow, somehow I didn't realize what a devlog was and that this post wasn't one, so basically nobody saw it. Oops.

Greetings, friends!

0.2 has been cooked and taste-tested by my awesome beta testers, and is ready for early consumption. This update introduces quite a few new characters and touches upon the deeper plot of the game.

This release will 100% require a new save. I apologize for the inconvenience. Thankfully, I should know enough now to avoid breaking saves in the future.

Release schedule:

May 23 - 04:30 PM - Sovereign of Secrets, August Luminary, Arcane Adept
May 25 - 04:30 PM - Scholar
May 26 - 04:30 PM - Regal Initiate
June 5 - 04:30 PM - Supporter
June 6 - 04:30 PM - Public

Dates are using EST: UTC−05:00.
Note: This schedule will likely change as the game grows.

+13,000 Words
(For easy comparison, 0.1 was 312/9000.)
This release uses a far better compression method, so despite the game more than doubling in content, the file size has been more than halved. (2.7gb to 1.1gb) The quality should be nearly identical.
