In the past two weeks, I've been working on advancing the playing experience of our game project by adding the main character art to it and the environment art. Two major accomplishments stand out: the completion of the main character modeling and the creation of the grey box for the first level scene, the Victim's Apartment.
Modeling the main character, a private detective, was interesting but time-consuming, drawing inspiration from classic film noir aesthetics and contemporary detective fiction. Similarly, crafting the grey box version of the Victim's Apartment was a crucial step in the level design process, serving as the foundational blueprint for the level's layout and atmosphere.
These achievements mark significant progress in shaping the direction of our game project that it is ready for the second playtest for a whole level game play through. With the main character and the first level scene taking form, we are steadily moving closer to delivering an immersive and engaging gaming experience.

Glad to see that you're moving along smoothly in your game. That point where you look back at what you did and can say "yea we did some good progress" is invaluable in keeping a team moving forward. That's HYPE.
Hey Harrison, I couldn't agree more, the implementation of this level will represent the viability of art materials. I hope that we can replace most of the assets into gray model levels before testing next week to help us gather players' opinions on the art scene.
