April/May update

Hello everyone,

So, after a quite busy month, I feel like an update is required for those who wonder what's going on with gamedev and drawings, so here's a quick life update on why there's not much happening right now on my side:

In the middle of last year, while I was still suffering of long covid symptoms, our landlord decided to kick us out of our appartment. The fucker was in charge of a small company that ran completely out of money and he needed to sell the place where my family and I were living. Of course, with kids under our roof and school/kindergarten usual issues, that was not happening, at least not immediately. We hired a couple of lawyers to help us smooth the situation with the landlord in order to give us some time and not end up  basically homeless.

The procedure worked, we received an additionnal delay to find a new home, but this cost us a shitload of money. We became almost as broke as my asshole (yes, I hate the guy)  landlord's company, but we had a temporary roof on our head.

I worked my ass off to recover from that fairly unconfortable situation last month, and here we are. We found a new appartment that we like and won't make the kids change school! That said, the delay for us to move is quite short, and we will be living in two different places temporarily until the end of May.

So, I'm afraid gamedev will be pushed on the side for a little longer. I have the immense chance to have this hobby around, but right now the priority is to work more to finish our financial recovery and carry stuff in our new place. Hard weeks in sight, I can tell you.

I hope I will be able to come back with gamedev stuff very soon, but I guess you understand that IRL priorities must be set right here.

I hope you're all doing well. Take care of your family and yourselves. I'll be back soon!
