Love + Attraction Jam Wrap-up!

Wowie! I gotta say, I'm thoroughly impressed by how many people ended up participating!

Overall we had 57 finished entries, with some coming in literal minutes before the deadline. To those who couldn't find the time to finish you games on time- I encourage you to still upload them to itch when they're ready! Don't let your hard work go to waste.

I was touched by how many familiar names popped up as each entry was submitted. The effort put into some of these exceeds what was expected, and I can't wait to start cracking into these games!

Now remember- this jam has no formal ranking, judging, etc. It was all in good fun, and I won't be (publicly) comparing entries to each other. Be proud in what you were able to do with the time given, and to all the first-time creators: keep making stuff!

Thank you all for participating, and have a great March!

Thank you so much for hosting the jam! This was my first time creating a VN and I wouldn't have done it without this opportunity.

Working on the VN was challenging but also very exciting and an incredible learning experience. But, now that that's done, I'm amazed to see that was only half the fun. Reading the other entries and seeing other creators interact and support each other is genuinely heartwarming.

It was a lovely first time game dev experience, from the provided sprites to the open-ended prompt. Had a good time learning the ropes in a welcoming, fun environment!

A jam (short for game jam) is an event where participants are given a theme or idea to create a game around! Most of the time they are competition and there might be prizes. In this case, it was more of a chill opportunity for people to create something and have fun with it. It was very cool!

Thank you for hosting this and creating an opportunity for so many people to make games. This was such an amazing jam with so many talented creators. I couldn't have asked for a better jam to have been my first!
