What inspired your game?
This game was inspired by RPG gear selection and upgrade screens. Our goal was to make a fun game out of a typically tedious side system by combining the best of both dress-up games and gear upgrading/improving :)
How did you incorporate the 'girly' theme into your game?
Adding a narrative to the game was our primary incorporation of the girly theme. These gear building systems are often bland and lifeless, and "girly" games often have fun and wholesome stories that drive them. Combining the two gives a much needed improvement to a tired old system! There is so much incredible inspiration that goes into "girly" games, and we hope to see more of it reach into the rest of gaming.

Awesome work! I really like that the dragon looks like it's breathing (sighing? LOL) while it's waiting for you. The screenshotted score of 1095 is impressive. I eked out 129 but will need to keep trying! Also, do prices matter in the game? It seems like time is the only constraint; I couldn't find a total budget to stay under. Clearly, my strategy of picking the highest-starred and most expensive items didn't work, heh.
Thanks for checking out our game! Going over the Dragon's budget makes them "very sad" (two broken hearts) and sad dragons don't count for any points at the end. Their budget is shown under the stats panel, but that's hidden behind the outfit by default, so it looks like we need some more UI/UX work with our post-jam patch!
Also worth pointing out that the clothing items on the left are scroll boxes! At some screen sizes they align perfectly to the edges. We didn't notice this until we had an opportunity to watch someone play the game for the first time after it was submitted. Guess we should've done more playtesting!
It was really fun and creative game. However, I think you should put more variation of dragons, but as it was made for a five day Jam, it's understandable to have only one type of dragon for now. I believe you will improve it later.
Absolutely! More dragons and more clothing options!
I was really hoping to play a boutique-based game during the jam—I'm glad someone did one! A fashion game with dragons is a great combination :)
I was a little confused with the mechanics despite doing the tutorial, I couldn't manage to figure out what tailoring does! I think with a little more refinement of the mechanics it'd be really good.
Thanks for the feedback, you're right it definitely needs a better visual indication! The "comfort" value is reduced if the size of the clothing doesn't match the dragon. Tailoring the clothing reduces this effect.
I've added that to a 'how to play' on the game page for now, but we'll come up with a good way to show that in game with a post-jam update! :D
