Haha, d'aw thanks for the compliments on the game! They are really cuddly :p

Thanks so much for playing, and I'm really happy you enjoyed it!

Ah, thank you for the feedback, and good idea! I should definitely make those points black -- thank you for playing!

Many thanks for the kind words! :p

Thank you so much!

Awh, thanks so much for appreciating the cats and their jump heh. That took forever to animate. Really happy you enjoyed it!

Haha, thank you very much!! Much appreciate your support

Haha, thanks so much for playing the game! I appreciate you playing already -- if you beat a record, let me know :p

Thank you so much!! LOL Yeah, it needs more levels!

Aw, I really appreciate that -- will definitely have to add more levels after the jam!

Thank you!

Thank you so much for playing the game and taking the time to leave such a nice review! :p

Heh, many thanks! :p Seems like animating that jump frame by frame was worth it T_T

Awh, many thanks for the support! I will definitely have to add more content after the jam is over.

LOL spamming buttons is definitely a successful strategy. Thank you for playing the game and for the kind words!

Many thanks! And you're definitely right. I will need to add more levels, challenges, and twists in gameplay after the jam!

Thank you! I spent so much time making those cats ahaha. I'm really glad you liked them!

Heh, thanks so much!

Thanks so much for the high praise. I really appreciate, especially considering how well polished your own game is. I've added those to my todo list and will have to do those after the jam!

I likewise don't see anything on the itch page but from the screenshot alone, looks like this could be a fun platformer. Hope you continue to work on it and release eventually, either submitting to another game jam or uploading here. Don't be discouraged!

Ditto on the visuals! The rigged characters, level design, and menus all look awesome so far. Looking forward to the game once it's released!

That was a really well executed game -- 5 stars for innovation for sure! I love that the replayed version almost exactly follows the same storyline, so you're never sure what's going to change. With that said, once we find out the "new owner," is that the final screen? The dark room gave me the heebie jeebies.

I didn't fully understand the timeline of events, and I have more questions than answers -- one way to change this would be to instead have the girls lose each other while playing hide-and-seek. Maybe the seeker just finds a note that says "I went home!" (although you'd have to switch the story to be from the perspective of the seeker then)

First, that's awesome that you managed to not only join but also submit in your very first game jam! This game has some cute enemy snakes, haha. The goofy eyes are my favorite part. How do I do battle with these snakes though? Would love to give the game another spin, if you have some instructions for that. And if not, not a problem, this looks great. I hope you continue developing games and making that 'girly' dream a reality!

The pixel art is really well done! I wasn't sure what to do other than using WASD to move around -- if there's more, I'd love a hint! Either way, very impressed with the art direction. This map clearly took a lot of time and love to make.

Very adorable character design and has the potential to be super fun! I likewise couldn't make it past the second level haha, but it sounds like that's okay. It'd be really funny if both characters were actually stuck in the same room at first -- and are the only ones that can pick up their colored keys + go out their colored doors. This is well done!

Haha, the "psspsspsspsspss" is awesome -- the premise is a very cute one! I got very nervous that the cat would actually bolt as it got closer, and the cat couldn't possibly walk any slower -- my goodness, haha! I do love this game.

"Score: C" :( LOL

The music player in the bottom left is really cute, I hadn't realized they were actually jumping and pointing in the direction of the key you pressed! I do think the game could be improved with more visual hint for directionality -- maybe the little monsters are oriented in the direction of the arrow? Great game, and great music!

Aw, I wish the kitty sweet dreams too! This is a really nicely done game, and such an endearing premise -- I certainly want the cat to not be lonely. The little "mice" are such a silly addition too. Passed out due to loneliness after round 50; got greedy and tried going after the orange cat with tuxedo dude right behind me!

All the fast skaters need to stick to their own lane. :(

LOL This is very addicting gameplay. As soon as I'm done writing this review, I'm going to keep going... and keep going... until I beat those high scores! I don't understand how you even scored a 10 digit number in the discord. Passing 1000 will be good enough for me, haha.

The title screen is a banger, and I was really impressed to see the characters had different expressions that matched the text! The twist on sudoku is also really fun. It might be nice to have some sort of indication that "a piece is placed incorrectly" if you've filled out the puzzle but got something wrong -- I was a bit confused heh. Not a problem if you just play the game correctly though LOL. Great game!

There are so many characters and options! Very impressive that you were able to draw such a wide collection in such a short period of time. The interface is clear, and the entire game's look is cohesive. Big fan! Here's my plushie.

Fantastic game and idea! The storytelling through pictures was very adorable, and "piecing" it all together was a solid experience. The piece were just the right size for me to grab and place, the little beep was pretty satisfying, and I can never get enough of the pieces snapping into place!

Great game and awesome visuals! At some point, I decided it was more effective to place every person "round robin" and see what the highest score was. This strategy still only netted me 20/36 though, haha!

The pixel art looks gorgeous! One minor thing is it may be worthwhile to trigger actions on keydown, instead of keyup -- I believe this is why dashes feel "delayed". I often also accidentally double-jumped by just holding down the jump key, so onKeyDown would solve both problems. These are just nits though -- well-executed game with polish, clear narrative, and great gameplay!

Cute game and a clever idea with the light creating "deadly" shadows! I completed the levels, but got an error at the very end. Doesn't matter much, but this might've prevented me from going back to the main menu?

I love that little character in the bottom right -- I unfortunately made him sad many times. What a throwback, I instantly recognized telephone. Played this on repeat a bajillion times ages ago. Please tell me you know this song too, and it wasn't just because it was the first song called "telephone" LOL. Either way, the title is hilarious and on-theme, the visual of an old flip phone is done well. 10/10 gameplay, would play more songs on my te-te-telephone!

The introductory comics were awesome, and I love that you "discover" the tea on your own. I definitely got wrapped up in the story, but wasn't sure what to do after Rebecca threatened the protagonist (and Tim shrugged "idk")! Really cool art and idea.

Oh wow, that is a complete game changer. That's a very neat mechanic, and you've got many simple components that together make a challenging game -- I would've been missing out on a lot without that critical detail. Now I understand why the first person below said it reminded them of Celeste!

I wanted to come back and say I finished all the levels but there is no way I'm passing this one. I saw those spikes on the right, haha!

Oh dope, thanks for the instructions LOL And all good, ooooo now we're talking. After restarting the game, I'm getting all sorts of awesome and funky characters now, woot!

This game is hilarious and really fun! The details are well thought-out -- locks to show when blocks aren't movable, the "BLUGH" frog sounds, and the "EWW" from the princess! If there was a "rom com" category for games, this would be it. Fantastic work!
