What if I just used grayscale filter? Its a lazy plan C I dont wanna resort to but curious if it counts.

idk I thought it would be considered lazy by vast majority of ppl because I just changed the post processing rather than actually making the assets match my pallet, I however actually think its a little smart (& time saving).

As long as there are only two colors and it's not just normal grayscale, yeah

Personally I went with a custom shader solution that constantly forces only 2 colors on the screen, and I can manually set both colors whenever I want (yes, I did make an acid rainbow effect, and it looks very cool)
