How did you choose to implement the Theme: Ascension in your game?
You play as a slime, using your (dubious) powers of gravity to collect coins and avoid spikes on your ascent to the fabled surface.

Pretty good game overall. I love the touch where you add "D" to the end of escape after you win. The spikes were a bit hard to see, and I died a few times before I even realized the spikes were there. Also this may be intentional, but the momentum is a bit hard to get used to. if the levels were random and the spikes were easier to see, this could be a pretty good mobile time waster.

Thank you for the feedback! The color palette is not the best one, and there are definitely accessibility issues. I totally agree as well that the momentum is a bit wacky. The levels are semi-random (there are 14 pre-made levels strung together randomly), because I did not want to deal with totally randomized level generation... Thank you for playing, I'm glad you liked it!

It's good ! Physics don't make the blob "floaty" and it's challenging
Maybe the spike hitbox can be a little less big

Great job! I did try several spike hitboxes (it's actually smaller than the spike itself as it is), so it must be something with the controls. Thank you for taking the time to beat my "game"!

  • mechanics seem solid but I can't even get past the first choke point with all the spikes, let alone try and get the coin
  • like the visuals and audio is fine but repetitive
