I thought the gameplay was very good for a game jam - I wouldn't play it for hours on end, but for a short experience, it was nice. The teleportation, while not that useful in my playthrough, did come in handy a few times, and I liked that as you used your slow field, it would degenerate. The main issue I had with the games music was the music on the final 2 levels, which was a bit too in-your-face for me; otherwise, the music choice was good for a game jam. Maybe it would have been better if the music didn't restart with the level, but I'm assuming that was an implementation detail with the restarting.

Thank you for the feedback! The color palette is not the best one, and there are definitely accessibility issues. I totally agree as well that the momentum is a bit wacky. The levels are semi-random (there are 14 pre-made levels strung together randomly), because I did not want to deal with totally randomized level generation... Thank you for playing, I'm glad you liked it!
There are 17 submissions. That means there should be at least 17 people who are active in the game jam and should rate other peoples' games. However, the most ratings any game in this jam has is 5. I understand that some people simply can't play a game (for example, I have neither an Android nor a Mac), but 5? That is simply ridiculous, especially as the majority of the games run in-browser.
There is a simple fix: Play the games. Show the community you care. Rate the games. Give them feedback. The entire point of a jam is to make and play games, and to show developers where they can improve. So, do you like the idea of a jam? Then promote it.
I had to use a RAR to ZIP converter to play. Unfortunately, some pesky bug gave me the same problem as LoicLeGrosFrere where the play button didn't work. A real shame, as it looks like this is a pretty fun game!
To state the obvious: there is no respawn. You must refresh the page every time you die. However, it definitely seems like the main problem was scope; you tried to put too much into your first game, and didn't get it done in the right order. Obviously, looking at my submission, I am not innocent of this either; it really is easy to fall into that trap. Overall, I would say that with some post-jam fixing, this could be a pretty good game!
Side note: does adding dependencies (such as Rendercam for the Defold engine) for non-integral mechanics break the Originality rule?
Obviously, websites like BeepBox.co count as you are actually making the audio, just with an easy UI; however, do audio effect generators (such as sfxr) count as making your own assets? Does that rule really just mean "don't use other peoples' stuff"? This is my first game jam (and game!), so thank you for this amazing opportunity!
