Judge feedback

Judge feedback is anonymous and shown in a random order.

  • Despite the nice background art, and the enjoyable music, I couldn't enjoy too much this little game, even if the idea was intriguing. The absence of a responsive interface made me randomly click on the screen and on the buttons to try to get actions more than think about the storyline. I dare to say that even a bit of improvement on UI can help players to enter your game spirit.
  • Good job writing your own engine for this. Unfortunately the game is just far too clunky to reasonably play.
  • Congratulations for using your own engine, but this was quite a difficult game to get the hang of. I'd be interested to see how you progress the game with the comments from other players taken into account.

The controls were confusing and I didn't get how to play this game. It would be nice to have feedback for the player interaction and some help how to play.

Edit: Actually a feasible game, but the controls need more improvement and the puzzle design is too linear for my taste. It would be also nice to highlight the characters, items and objects. Well done!

to interact with a character you must go in front of him

I gave your game another play, but I only got the gun and I don't know what to do next. There is no information provided what objects I can interact with.

I've edited my first comment. It was nice to play, but some highlights and better character graphics and controls would be nice.

its my adventure-kit i made in javascriptand and i will improve it

Congrats on making your own engine. May I suggest to add more feedback to the clicks? Sometimes it's hard to understand whether I clicked correctly on the inventory item before giving or using, and I had to try again a few times. Good job anyway :)

It’s really cool that you used your own engine to make the game! I liked the story and the background art. The controls were a bit difficult to use but I got the hang of it after a few tries - maybe highlighting interactable objects would have helped. The puzzles were nice but got slightly repetitive after a while. Otherwise a nice entry, good work!

thank you! Yes, some objects should be highlighted. the ash heap in the first chapter is maybe hard to see
