  • Amusing and lengthy, despite the abrupt ending. Visuals were great, animations nice and smooth.
  • Great quality game with interesting puzzles, characters, and story. A bit buggy in general like that people were at the news office and the bar at the same time, and other things.

Very cool and an impressive length, with funny writing. One thing that really bugged me is not being able to skip dialog during cutscenes as it stays on screen way too long. One other thing was having to look at an item multiple times to get the information. I wouldn’t have got that without the walkthrough. The music got a bit annoying after a while. Aside from those minor things, a very enjoyable game, nice job!

I just realized there’s a setting for advancing the text, so forget what I said about that!

This was a lot of fun! Is Susan really the smartest one, though? I encountered a few bugs and had to start over when it seemed like there was nothing left to do. A couple that have not been mentioned (I think) are that it's possible to enter a state where Susan cannot take notes, right at the start of the game. The journalists also seem to be in the coffee corner and at the bar simultanously, and the conversation meant to happen in the bar, can be had while in the wrong building.

Anyhow, great use of humour and character building. Iceland doesn't have trees, though. :-D

Your game was a lot of fun! I did encounter a few bugs, like switching the City Hall Pass and the Save/Load function was not working properly. Overall, it was a joy to play! The pixel art graphics and animations were lovely, and I really appreciate the dark humor.

I don’t want to spoiler too much, but I felt sad about Susan at the end

I wish for more varied music in the post-jam version.

Thank you so much for the kind words! And coming from you, that really means a lot. :)

We've noted those bugs as well and they will be fixed. That is very helpful, and appreciated!

Enjoyed this a lot, great animations! :D
Glad you posted the walkthrough because I was worried I'd gotten the bad ending hahaha
I did find one bug:  I got stuck on the corner of the inside (near camera side) of desk near the filing cabinets in the newspapers office / couldn't move, and had to restart :P

I gave the tramp the drink and I have the Dr Kensa flyer and have no idea what to do next.  Wait....I think you guys just added a walkthrough. I didn't see that yesterday

Developer (1 edit) (+1)

You're right! It was added yesterday evening. I hope the walkthrough has helped but if you need a hint along the way, we're happy to help.
