How did you choose to implement the Theme: Royalty in your game?
The player character works as a cook for the King. The game takes place in his castle.
Did you implement any of the optional Bonus Challenges, and if so, which ones?

This was a super charming little game, and I'm excited to see the full product! I thought it was a really fun take on the approach to the Royalty theme, and common RPG tropes in general. I'm a sucker for games that pit the type of character whose normally an NPC as a protagonist instead.
My only critique is the existence of an in-game timer coupled with a bunch of warnings about doing things in a timely manner made me worried that I was going to be penalized if I took too long to do things, haha. But maybe that's a feature in the full game, just not the demo?
Thanks so much for the feedback, we really appreciate it! <3
The timer is something that would definitely be tweaked in the full game, and I think we'd aim to appropriately warn the player of what would happen if they failed their goal in time. :D
This was shorter than I expected, hoped for a bit longer starting quest to show off the planned gameplay a bit more, but it certainly has the potential to be a very fun game. The presentation in particular is very nice, especially the tilesets and the omelette. :) The character busts are nice, but could use some more work. The female PC in particular has some white dots on her left cheek and mouth that I think are supposed to be reflected light or something, but it looks a bit weird as is. Other than that, no complaints.
Also, I didn't expect voice acting, but it was pretty good. There were times when the voice lines said something different from the text, but I expect that will be fixed once the lines are finalized.
Great work :)
Thank you for playing, and thank you for the feedback! :D <3
