I did not really understand this game, but I did manage to escape.
Thanks for your feedback. I wanted to add some more lore into the game using the computers and using certificates that would have been framed in the corridors etc but due to working on this after my full time job and being my first game jam I suppose I got a bit overwhelmed.
Now that you've played it. Did you prefer I add a tutorial or do you think it's not necessary?
I don't think a tutorial would be necessary for most player.
You're using the exact same d20 object I am in my game! Haha
Hey man. What object is that? I'm not sure I know what d20 is 😅.
Edit: I checked out your submission (awesome style dude). But I think you're referring to the really low poly ball thing yeah? Blender made that one nice and easy :D
Yes, d20 is actually a type of dice with 20 sides (instead of 6). Usually used in tabletop board games.
Haha what made you choose that shape? I made mine directly in Unreal with a BSP brush.
I am 100% a game programmer. So all the art work was kinda hard for me and the shape fell into two categories. 1. Blender had a tool for making that shape and 2. I thought it looked semi futuristic and calming.
What made you choose it?
Not sure honestly! It's probably one of the coolest looking simple shapes.
And like you said, futuristic :]
One tip for your lighting that I noticed: Drag the "Soft Source Radius" of your spotlights way up, until you can't see the harsh point reflections on the walls.
