Did i understand correctly that there's no theme here, the only theme is that its an "arcade-type" game?

That's absolutely right! If you envision the classic arcades that are scarcely found these days, let's bring them to life. It will involve implementing high scores and utilizing WebGL.

Sharing some thoughts - i'm tired of Pixel art, when i think of old arcade-type games its always pixel art but i'm guessing there's no mandatory obligation to use pixel art , right?

If you feel that its incorporated an arcade theme, then we wanna see it. It certainly doesn't need to be pixel.
