Fun and challeging game, although the simple graphics I really liked the monkey sprite, I just think it needs a little more polishing, adding some soundeffects and a cool background would be great.

All of them, Level theme music
Which parts of the game did you create BEFORE the jam STARTED?

Controls are super challenging. I think having the jump as a separate button might make more sense. Can see this as a mobile game though with controls being a little more intuitive.
The idea is really good, but I have found the controls a little bit hard to master, I could make some jumps but couldn't keep consistant. (Maybe I'm not good at all hahaha)
Haha, I sort of love it. Very hard at first, but then, like QWOP you sort of get the hang of it. I was able to get to the second level (by accident I think). I would suggest maybe where the player first starts there are a few more poles to grab while you are getting used to it and up the difficulty later. Oh and your entry is marked as having a Mac OSX build, but upon downloading it, I could only see a windows .exe file. Very enjoyable though. Nice work on the monkey art. Really good gameplay idea here, well done.
Controls are a bit weird else the game is good :3
I agree, the controls are pretty wonky! Though thing is, at the end there I had gotten so used to their wonkey-ness it was hard for me to try to balance otherwise! I'm glad you ended up liking it regardless!
I like how this all came together. I got to test during the jam when it was just a box swinging around, love the monkey BTW. I really like just flinging the monkey and trying jump as far as I can. The controls do take some time to get used to but once you do consistency goes up. Great works.
Thank you a bunch! Your feed back was really valuable! I actually put in a second level for those who beat the first that focuses on trying to fling yourself as far as you can, thanks to your suggestion! Gah! I'm going to add you and the others that helped me early out to the credits page as playtesters!
