  • I really like the visual style of this game. Mechanics are solid. Some levels needed pixel perfect gravity switch which was a bit had as there is a small delay after pressing space. I like what you did with the music, and sounds fit well. I enjoyed playing it. Adding a timer and best time could encourage speedrunning. Great job!

Which song(s) did you choose for the theme and how did you incorporate it/them?
two-buttons - basic mechanic

Which parts of the game did you create BEFORE the jam STARTED?
Circular shader

Which parts of the game did you NOT create?
N/A

This is an insanely clever game implemented with real style.

I love the way you've combined the simple elements to create really challenging puzzles with coordination/timing skill elements too.

I'm struggling to think of any suggestions for improvement.  I guess the only thing I could say is: if/when you start adding more levels, make sure the player is given a sense of progression/achievement.

That said, the gradual introduction of the different elements (like the red spikes) could be used to supply that.  Maybe some portal-style teleports for ultimate mind-messing later on!

Damn, your game is impressive.  Great work!

Thanks for playing and the great comments. Cool idea on portal teleportation, will see what I can do!

Great work and Amazing visual style. Can be a little disorienting at time. I really enjoyed solving the movement puzzles and man was that last level a doozy. Not sure how many tries it took but I finally got. Well done.

Developer

Thanks for playing! Ran out of time so made that last level a stiff challenge.

It was actually pretty fun, with some polish it would make a good mobile game

Developer

Thanks for checking out the game! Thinking of a mobile version :D

Overall amazing job! Not being able to change directions was quite frustrating at times, especially on the third level when there is unavoidable spikes. The color transition felt very good and had neat implementation!

Developer

Thanks for playing and kind comments! Yes the fixed direction can be quite a challenge - that last level with spikes ended up being a final level and I might have made it a little too challenging.

Nice design. It's a bit frustrating at first because you want to turn around and go pick that green thingy but you can't. After a while you get used to it though. Good work!

Yeah the autowalk can be quite restrictive. You could bump into walls to turn around. Thanks for playing!

It is fun, challenging, requires fast reactions and needs real time strategy. Kudos to the designer.

Awesome game! Blew me away how much you were able to get done with just two buttons!

That's real fast to get a play! Thanks for playing

No problem! The only critique I have is that sometimes the text on the big outside circle got cut out from the top of the screen, but its very minor haha. Good job on the game!
