This was really fun and I could totally mistake this for a legitimate N64 game of the era. I think the gravity could do with a tiny tweak as sometimes it felt like I remained airborne just inches off the ground. But other than that great game!

Developer

Yeah, I don't really know why because I didn't have time to really diagnose it, but early on in development, gravity just kinda stopped cooperating entirely; I had to do a quick and dirty implementation my own super janky gravity to get the models to cooperate as much as they do. I suspect it has to do with the way the forward acceleration works, but I won't know unless I do a deep dive or figure it out on a different project. I'm glad you enjoyed it though!

It was really cool and fun! I really like the style you put in. It both has that 90s-style gameplay to it and it's really fun. Out of curiosity, because I was focused on steering rather than meticulously observing the style meter - does it have a combo system?

Developer(+1)

It does not technically have a combo system, no. All the tricks are the same amount of points and also have the same fall period length. A couple of the tricks do have animations long enough to flow into one another, creating a secret trick or two, but there is no combo system as such.

That was so much fun! A fair and good challenge and although I've never played a snowboarding game, this makes me want to!

Takes a little bit to figure out the commands because there are no instructions with it, but it's totally addictive and fun once you do!

Developer

Glad you liked it! Think I'll add the controls to the info on the page soon, since it is a little hidden as it is now.

Really polished game with great graphics! Good to see you made your own music and nailed that 90's vibe! Great stuff!

Very nice snowboarding game! I liked the selection of characters and boards on display! The machanics are a little iffy to get used to though, but I definitely enjoyed the game!
