I played your game on stream, here is the VOD: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1839314176

I suggest adding a downward force at the peak of your jump to make jumping feel better.

I am a sucker for a game with grapple mechanics. I thought the idea for throwing the target is really smart.

Also a level editor?! Really nice touch.

I really like the visuals of the game, they really give me the old school 90s vibe.

I do think the arenas you fight in are a little too cramped for what is seeming to be a fast pace first person shooter. (Almost Doom Like). Character Movement/ Controls could be worked on a bit. I felt like pressing E to pull myself to the hook was a bit weird where I thought it worked where it would start pulling me whenever I was in the air. I also didnt really understand what the crystals were for

Aside from that, the addition of a lever editor is really awesome.  I also love the enemy designs, especially the snail.

crystals can be thrown and hooked onto, will also get more functionality later as we will continue to work on the game

Good work! I loved the art style and lighting of this new version and the movement and gameplay feels very smooth. The only problems that i had were that i didn't know where or what to do in the game and some performance issues i had while playing.

thanks for your comment! the goal is to find a way down, and after 3 floors face the boss

Biased, but this was a fun game, had some lags, but overall enjoyable experience. Good work!

Huge improvement from the old version! A fun little game too! I was unsure what my goal was but that didn't detract from the experience. Loved the traps and level layouts!

The level generation was interesting, did you use prefab rooms and join them together randomly or randomly generate the entire layout?

Developer(+2)

Thanks for the kind words :) We are using prefab rooms and joining them together, exactly. Seemed way simpler than potentially generating unplayable rooms.

We should probably have specified that, the goal is to go down as far as possible (4 times) where you can fight the boss.

Awesome! I will need to give it another play and try to find the boss :)
