Thanks, glad you enjoyed it!

Thanks for playing, I'm glad you enjoyed it, twin!

Super cute. A fun and casual game. I like the idea of washing the turnips.
I lost my job :)

Thanks for checking it out!

Yeah, I agree with you. I had plans on adding some larger mech enemies, but couldnt fit it in the timeframe.

If I come back to this, that will be one of the first things to add.

Thank you so much! I'll message you on discord now! It was an honor to participate!

Pretty cool style. Had a hard time seeing the enemies at first, also wasnt sure where I was shooting. Adding sound and a cross hair would be an easy fix for that.

Nice work!

I think the visuals of the levels were pretty interesting and cool. I also like the tiny and minimal mech character.

Had problems with the mouse as it didn't stay in the center. I also had a really tough time playing, in terms of difficulty, not sure if that was intended. It could be due to the mouse cursor issue I stated previously.

Nice job!

Love all of the illustrations. Would love to see a short comic series based on this with them. The audio can be a bit overwhelming at times, for me at least.

Solid work and great job!

Love the fantasy mech idea. The characters are great!

Also think its really funny/cool that if youre not careful you could end the game by accident. Really nice charm.

A nice addition/change would be to make the spell attack be able to hit multiple enemies rather than one. Would also think it would be great to hear the towns folk screaming/cheering while fighting the monsters.

Really fun idea! Great job!

I tried to open this in GZ Doom at first but no luck, not sure if that was intended or no.

Very cool concept. I think the UI is very interesting compared to how most games handle it. I also like the idea of a big mech using a revolver to fight these eldritch space squids.

I do think there needs to be some visual and/or audio feed back when youre fighting enemies. Wasnt too sure if I was killing anything or taking damage at times. Also starting the game from the splash screen seemed a little janky. I was pressing enter, but it didnt seem like it was loading the level the first few times.

Very interesting concept and would love to see where it goes!

Absolutely lovely. Needs to be a full game.

A great addition would be adding somewhere in the game what the icons mean. I know they are on the game's main page, but I didn't see that until after I was done. Also selecting the new level was a bit clunky and hard to select at times. I also did notice sometimes I would spawn in some scenery object, but was able to get out easily the times it happend to me.

Great job guys!

Really great job on the audio. The little easter egg at the main menu freaked me out at first cause I didnt know how I triggered it, but I found out and thought it was really funny.

Pretty interesting story as well. I will say that I feel that the art direction feels a bit all over the place. What I mean is that you are fighting in stylized mechs, but in a somewhat realistic world. I understand that AI can be tricky but that was the only thing that I first noticed.

Game plays great and very interesting to learn about these games more!

Great job!

The story is quite interesting. I like the idea of a dragon being a hologram person AI assistant thing. Would love to see more visuals and audio.

Overall nice job!

Feels pretty satisfying and very polished in terms of the visuals and music. At first I thought it was a bit weird that it was turn based, but after a while, I was getting into it. Really cool combination.

Not sure if it was fully implemented, but i thought using the buttons on the HUD rather that my keyboard was really cool, but for whatever reason the only one that didnt work was the stick that controlled the movement. I also think I found a bug where if you enter a portal right when your turn ends, your turn doesnt end and you get infinite play time.

Aside from that, pretty cool!

Thanks! The opening cutscene/voice lines was something I really wanted to. Almost cut it but glad I didnt.

While play testing I was constantly making the sound effects with my mouth (including the voice lines) :p
And yeah, I think this game was a bit more demanding compared to the other games I made in UE, definitely a learning experience.

Thanks for checking it out! Glad you enjoyed it!
It's possible that the surface you tried summoning it on wasn't flat enough. Also if you tried summoning it in the big red bubble it wont spawn. These are things I probably could have made a lot clearer with some dialogue. :p

I really like the overall aesthetic and giant almost alien like level design. Some feedback on when you get hit/when you hit an enemy would be a great touch.

The silver wolf robots reminded me a lot of the T-1000 from Terminator. Pretty cool idea.

Great work!

Pretty hard to play it properly, but for what i was able to do, it was put together very well. Props to making a multiplayer game for a jam! I know those can always have issues.

Super cool idea. The world is pretty interesting and would love to see it expanded on. It gives me metrovania feels and i like it! Nice job!

i cook-a da pizza

really cool idea. I like the dragon design and how he actually has a body rather than just his neck. The mech controls are a bit weird, specifically the turning mechanic. I think since you can look around freely with the mouse, it throws you off a bit. One idea could be that rather than being able to look all 360 degrees around, you clamp it so you can only look 45 degrees around, and would have to turn the mech to compensate for that. Just and idea.
Also I had a hard time placing the pizza in the dragon's mouth and oven at times, but nothing too bad.

Overall super cool idea, fresh ingredients, spicy mech action.

Interesting concept. The story is very intriguing. I like the design of the mech and the overall setting of the game.
I did have a pretty difficult time shooting down the dragons. Also dont know if this is a bug, but if I were to shoot directly after shooting, my first shots would disappear.
other than that, nice job!

All the movement mechanics are great. super tight and responsive. It's a really good fan game. I like the design of the boss, both mechanically and visually. The intro sets up the mood perfectly. Overall, the presentation is top notch.

I do think its extremely easy as you can just ignore all of the smaller mechs and go straight to the boss and end the game. Also it doesn't seem like there's a way to lose.

It's a really good foundation and would love to see it expanded upon. Great work!

Very simple to understand and straight forward. Its really polished for what it is and runs great. The only issues I ran into while playing was that one of the floating drone enemies somehow got stuck either in a building or under the map, so basically soft locked.  The other issue was that my player character some how was stuck in a transitioning phase. My guess was it was stuck in the jet pack fly phase and I also got soft locked from that as well.

Other than that, I really enjoyed it and had fun. Kinda interesting that me and you had a similar idea .

Super solid and pretty awesome. Love the art direction and look of the game. Some times it felt like the spawning of the planes was a little unfair, but it wasnt too punishing. It did take me a while to figure out that the helmets on the top right were my jumps. Maybe move that UI element towards the bottom of the screen would help cause I was mostly looking down there for the planes to jump on.

Great game, very fun! Would love to see it as a mobile game.

Love that there are multiple characters and levels to choose from! Overall a pretty well polished game.
I did have some problems with knowing where the targets were. For example level 2 was very large and my movement was very slow. I believe due to the draw distance and that the "target" indicator would not render in front of objects, it took me a very long time to find the targets and finish the mission.
Other than that I enjoyed it and would love to see more mech designs for the different characters!

Thanks, I appreciate it!
I wanted a friend of mine to work on some of the audio, but it didnt work out in the end, so I had to find some music and effects online. I'm more of a visual artist than an audio one. :p

Awesome! Thanks for playing and confirming! :)

Thanks for playing! Im glad to hear that. I was a bit afraid of dropping frames with all of the destruction physics. But I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Hey, thanks for trying it out! I agree with what you're saying about it not being clear that the mech cant enter the zones but the pilot can. I wanted to add some voice lines tell the player that, but ran out of time.
I do agree that it is very easy to destroy the generators. In the future, if I pick this up again, I would probably add smaller batteries around the generators to destroy before destroying the big one, or something along the lines of that.

Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it! I wanted to add some additional voice lines that would tell you to hop out of the mech, but sadly ran out of time. :p

Thanks! Interestingly enough, I totally missed that being a theme for the jam. I'll make that adjustment now. :)

Thanks! Im glad you enjoyed it! There could be an issue if you destroy 2 generators before attacking the dragon, but thats just the first thing that comes to my head. I can look further into it.

awesome that sounds great!

awesome thanks for playing

Yeah thats what I thought happened, just did know which button I pressed :p
I was really cool tho looking around and seeing the enviromental assets you guys made. Great stuff!

I also forgot to mention, but the notes are a really cool feature. Especially for this type of game.

The robot designs are really cool.

'Some ambient music would add to the dread of the game. I did have a hard time trying to see where the robots where looking at. I think adding camera controls or even a stationary camera (similar to resident evil) would be a big benefit on that front.

Also the robots catching you was really cool. I like the robots a lot. Would love to learn more about them! Great job!

Great concept!

I think it has potential to be something special.

Had a lot of fun mashing spacebar as fast as I could

Couldn't play much cause i was getting motion sick from the texture stretching. I do think the idea of using audio was a great idea. I think it would be a nice touch to have the maze/arena a bit more Christmas.
Great work!

This is a great game jam game. Feels very polished. However, I did some how get into some sort of debug mode and could not get out.
Love the atmosphere and the unsettling feeling.
Great job

I collected all of the items, but doesnt seem like i could end the game and get excalibur. Also the control setup is very weird.

I like the dream like setting, its interesting and cool.
