Sorry for the question, but after submitting my game, how can I vote for other games?
Just so I understand this... to show up in the jam feed, do I need to rate the game and/or write a comment on a page specifically to do with the game's entry in the jam? Or if I just rate any game that's in the jam, even if I don't know about the jam at all, does that rating show up on the jam's feed?
This is all a bit confusing: I can see the feed, but there's no way to get from the feed to "the place to do more of these ratings"! And if I start from a game's page, I can't find any of the ratings and reviews in the jam's feed anywhere on the pages to do with the game. So I'm a bit lost!
This is just the default behaviour of itchio. Ratings and reviews can only be seen on feeds. Which is why many creators ask people to copy their reviews of a game into the comments as well.
There is also a separate comments section for the game's submission page (for the jam), but even fewer people would see it.
Unfortunately, this is just how itchio functions for non-ranked jams, and there's nothing I can do about it. ^^"
