Tried the game. I appreciated the fact you made a game from zero, but it needs work on the game design side. The puzzles are cheatable by spamming the “action” button on all the possible tiles and the ghost was never a problem. Some puzzles were clever and well done. I hope you learned from this experience and you will manage to make a even better game next. I know this is a cheesy phrase to say, but: “the fact you have a game created by you is really a prize already”.

yes, you can on all tiles press "e" but it is very laborious. and it doesnt work on the riddle with the levers.

Cute idea, I like how you have to do the puzzles with the lil ghost wandering around.  I couldn't exit the application, I had to go to the task manager, very weird.

Developer(+1)

to exit you must only press escape. thank you for playing

It's a nice little riddle game. I'm a bit turned off by the fact that you have to press the directional buttons on each tile to move, because that made it difficult in room 4 when you have to navigate around switchs AND avoid the floating ghost. Overall, it's cute and simplistic. I love the backstory as to why the family follows its tradition.

thank you for playing! yes, some less switches would be better to navigate. maybe a greater resolution would be fine.

The one tile per button press I thought was awkward given the size of the map and the game isn't turn based. The riddles were interesting though!

Developer(+1)

the game isn't turn-based because of the moving ghost.

The one tile per button press I thought was awkward given the size of the map <-- what you mean? there is no button which give you the size of the map.
