Hi all. Today marks the 4th day of the 7DRL for me.

For the most part, the core game loop can be considered as completed and you can play the game here https://zwodahs.itch.io/abyss.

I haven’t submitted the game yet as I have more ideas to add to the game for the remaining time.

Would love to get some feedback on

  1. How hard is the game for you ? 1 - 5 (5 being too hard)
  2. Which danger is the most challenging for you
  3. What feature do you think will be interesting to add ?

I feel that this game may not be considered as roguelike to some, and I hope that is okay =).

Hey! Nice game, it seems a bit random but I had not much time to focus on the rules. As per yout points:

1 - 4 at first, but i've to play more

2 - traps if you're forced to step on them 8pp

3 - maybe an endgame?

I got up to here and then it stopped responding to both swipes and WASD:

I am using Edge with WebKit.

As for your questions:

  1. I would say a 3, maybe 3 and a half.
  2. Lack of planning ahead! But seriously, i do not think there was anything that was more challenging than the others for me.
  3. I also would say a more satisfying ending. Or a progression through a couple of different regions/themes.

New update !

High score now is cumulative, but when you die, you lose everything. This makes the risk reward even higher now !
