Thanks for your kind words. I’m currently planning out a small roadmap for it, and already have a post-jam build (link in description). The new build is more challenging and less grindy towards the end and the challenges appear way earlier; IMO more fun to play as well.
I’m definitely looking for ideas and inspiration so if you have any, feel free to ping me on discord.
I think more explanation would be good. You should also show what the starting state of the board so the player can know how to solve the puzzle; if not the game is just a blind placement of units and praying for the best.
Lastly, because this is a web build, ideally don’t use scroll as a input(similar with using ESC).
Took me a while to understand how to convert other kingdom. That part should be explain more (I think).
I had to restart a few times to find a start that looks okay. I think it might be better if the number of starting area is equal for each kingdom.
Took me a while but I managed to beat it after multiple tries.
Love how the game become a zone control as I slowly trap some of the pieces. Love to see if and how the mechanics is expanded.

I have decided to continue to expand the game pass the submission date, and have decided to use the original link that I created at https://zwodahs.itch.io/abyss for this, since many people have already have that link.
I started on Saturday (1pm, GMT+8) and submitted on Friday (3:30pm, GMT+8)
Will not be adding more features to the RL version, not wanting to break anything. Will fix bug in the RL version only if it is game breaking.
Do play the other version if they are not rating the challenge :D as I have choose to reduce scope to make a complete game.
The game is mobile friendly, and should be playable on all browser. Do let me know if there are any issues.

Hi all. Today marks the 4th day of the 7DRL for me.
For the most part, the core game loop can be considered as completed and you can play the game here https://zwodahs.itch.io/abyss.
I haven’t submitted the game yet as I have more ideas to add to the game for the remaining time.
Would love to get some feedback on
- How hard is the game for you ? 1 - 5 (5 being too hard)
- Which danger is the most challenging for you
- What feature do you think will be interesting to add ?
I feel that this game may not be considered as roguelike to some, and I hope that is okay =).
